Day 7 - Tues, 1/1/19 - Rome to Pompei (Part 1 of 2)

Late night & early start.  We checked out and left the hotel at 7:30 and made our way to Nettuno to see St. Maria Goretti and celebrate Mass.  Next, we drove to Monte Cassino to see Sts. Benedict and Scholastica.  Then we drove south to see St. Philomena and finally to Pompei for Bl. Bartolo Longo!  It was a much slower paced day than our time in Rome.  Some much needed sleep was had on the bus!

    Couldn't you all bring back just ONE of those magnificent churches from Rome back to Maryland? They'd hardly miss it over there, and there's just nothing like them over here...
